Sudley UMC is one point of light integrated into, and supported by, a global denomination, the United Methodist Church (UMC). The mission of The UMC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by opening Hearts, Minds, and Doors.

We believe in putting faith and love into action by sharing God's love with all people. To that end, we invite all to participate with us in expressing that love through our traditions, our service and our daily lives. We celebrate the life of Jesus Christ as the fullest expression of God's love.

We trace our roots to the 18th century teachings of John Wesley. It is through our understanding of his lessons on practical divinity that we strive  to live out our faith in our families, our church, and the community.
